Tom arrived 15 minutes early for his job interview. In the waiting room, he struck up a conversation with another candidate. "Nervous?" Tom asked. "Terrified!" she replied. They laughed and shared tips. When his turn came, the interviewer mentioned, "I heard you chatting outside. That's exactly the kind of team spirit we need here." Sometimes, being genuine matters more than rehearsed answers.
